Frequently Asked Questions

How can I request a demo of Park’s services?

What do we need to provide when we want a quote for services?

  • Please provide the type of services you want to advertise in and the ad text that includes the job title, location, company name, and how to apply information. If you require a SWA post, please provide the login and required information based on the state of employment. Many of our clients request specific media sources, but if you are unsure, Park would be glad to make a recommendation.

How long does a quote take?

  • You can typically expect to receive a complete quote in 2-3 business days. Smaller cities or more rural areas may require additional time to research the best media options which will always be communicated to you. We will provide you with a breakdown of costs per service and proofs of the newspaper advertisements for review.

When do I need to submit an order by to run print ads this weekend?

  • We recommend any ads that absolutely must run on a certain date, that you submit them to Park the week before they are needed. This will give us ample time to provide you with a quote and get any necessary edits done. However, we will try our best to quote and place the ads within the same week whenever possible.

Can I get a proof for an online post?

  • We cannot provide a proof for an online advertisement until the quote has been approved. As soon as the cost is approved, we will post the ad and provide you with a day one screenshot for review and you can request any required edits at that time.

How much does an advertisement cost?

  • The cost to place a PERM ad depends on the word count and the city where the position is being offered. Once you send over your ad text and what services you would like to run to your Park representative, we can provide you with a precise quote.

What if the ads are too expensive?

  • While we cannot accommodate every budget limitation, we are able to provide you with alternative media sources if a quote does fall outside of it.

How long do online ads get posted for?

  • Most of our clients have the online ads run for 7, 14, or 30 days. SWA ads will always run for a minimum of 30 days to meet regulations.

Can I request changes to the ad text after I receive the quote?

  • Park is very happy to make the requested edits to fit your and your client’s needs. You can either email Park with the new ad text or send us a note through your account portal online. We will pass along the new text to our vendors and send you a new quote with updated proofs as soon as possible.

Are we required to prepay?

  • We will provide you with an invoice and payment link as soon as we receive approval for the quoted ads. The case will then be placed on hold until the payment has been received.

What forms of payment are accepted?

  • We can accept payment via ACH or by credit card. Please note that there is a 2.75% fee associated with credit card payments.

How can I approve a quote?

  • You can either reply to the quote email with approval or log into your account portal and approve the quote there which will notify our team.

What happens when I approve a quote?

  • An email with a pdf invoice and payment link will automatically be sent to you at time of approval. It will contain the cost per media service and the total cost for the case. The case will then be placed on hold until the payment has been received. Upon payment, Park will place the approved ad text with the appropriate vendors for the agreed upon duration. Please let us know if you have specific run date restrictions such as an upcoming PWD expiration.

Can you set up a SWA account?

  • No, we will need to be provided with the SWA login credentials and as soon as the case is approved, we will post and monitor the SWA advertisement.

What does a SWA site mean by Veteran Hold?

  • Some state SWAs require that job posts are available to American Veterans to apply before the post becomes available to everyone. Park will check the post daily and as soon as the post becomes “live” we will take the day one screenshot.

How do I know when the ads have been published?

  • As soon as we receive confirmation that the ads have been placed with the agreed upon vendors, Park will send you an ad schedule via email with the online day one screenshots attached for review.

What if I need to make changes to a case already in progress?

  • Changes to advertisements that have already been approved with Park should only be requested if absolutely necessary. These changes may incur additional costs depending on the stage of the case. We can try to recall some ads with our vendors, but it’s contingent on their individual deadlines and we may be past the point of pulling the ads from print or online.

How do you deliver the tearsheets?

  • Once the PERM advertising cycle is complete, Park will deliver an Etear package in a single PDF via email. It is also available for download and review in your account portal.
